摘要: Abstract In this study, the hydrodynamic behavior of coflowing fluids CO2 and ethanol has been investigated in a high-pressure microfluidic reactor working at supercritical conditions, which two are completely miscible. The velocity field measured by Micro Particle Image Velocimetry ( μ PIV) for different temperatures between 20 50 °C fixed pressure 100 bar. Meanwhile, we have developed model to investigate numerically mixing. By comparing experimental results three-dimensional numerical simulation, mixing validated laminar coflow micromixer. order understand condition effects, several parameters investigated, namely: Reynolds number, temperature CO2/ethanol ratio. A time constant is defined using segregation intensity curve later used characterize quality. characteristic related energy dissipation rate ∊ , similarly stretching efficiency previous studies. quality eventually analyzed term index time.
