摘要: We report on the feasibility of short-wavelength transmission window modification in anti-resonant hollow core fibers using post-processing by hydrofluoric (HF) acid etching. Direct drawing stacked with sub-micron thin cladding capillary membranes is technologically challenging, but so far this has been only proven method assuring over an octave-spanning windows across visible and UV wavelengths. In study we revealed that low HF concentration allows us to reduce thickness from initial 760 nm down 180 a controlled process. The glass etching rates have established for different concentrations within range non-destructive structure. Etching resulted spectral blue-shifting broadening all tested fiber samples lengths between 15 cm 75 cm. Spectrally continuous transmission, extending around 200 650 was recorded long etched nm. experiment allowed verify applicability controlling silica technique, aimed at fibers.
