Design and implementation of a multimodal transportation cost analysis model for domestic lignite supply in Turkey

摘要: Synopsis Transportation cost is the dominant and accounts for almost half of total mining in surface mining. Therefore, determining transportation critically important economic feasibility projects. Turkey produces around 85 million tons lignite per annum. The biggest state-owned company, Turkish Coal Enterprises (TKI), 43 cent country’s production. Around produced used power plants electricity generation 15 domestic heating cities urban areas. On behalf government, TKI distributes 2 Mt annually, at no to poor needy families countrywide accordance with Social Assistance Solidarity Funding aid. This paper presents estimation software, NAKMAL, has been developed estimating from mine face, including excavation loading, various final destination points through five scenarios. NAKMAL was designed using Visual Studio.NET, validated field data some case studies, it currently being by calculation country-wide.
