摘要: Abstract Analytical solutions for the elastic–plastic stress distribution in rotating variable thickness annular disks are obtained under plane assumption. The analysis is based on Tresca's yield criterion, its associated flow rule and linear strain hardening material behavior. of disk assumed to vary parabolic form radial direction which leads hypergeometric differential equations solution. It shown that, depending boundary conditions used, plastic core may contain one, two or three different regions governed by mathematical forms criterion. expansion these with increasing angular velocity together distributions stress, displacement strain. also mathematically that limiting case solution reduces uniform disk.
