摘要: The present invention is directed to a method of producing an amphiphilic block copolymer, including the steps of: (1) preparing first aqueous polymerization medium which comprised of (a) 4-vinylpyridine, (b) trithiocarbonate RAFT agent, and emulsifier, wherein emulsifier prepared in-situ within by reaction latent surfactant with activator; (2) polymerizing 4-vinylpyridine in presence free radical initiator produce poly(4-vinylpyridine); (3) protonating poly(4-vinylpyridine) form protonated macroinitiator; (4) second macroinitiator monomer containing ethylenic unsaturation but exclusive surfactant; (5) temperature less than 100° C. copolymer unsaturation.
