摘要: The production of poliovirus vaccines in adherent Vero cells batch bioreactors usually consists a two-step upstream process: (1) cell cultivation on microcarriers and (2) proliferation. In this study we developed mathematical model to describe process. We introduced the calculation oxygen uptake rate (OUR) correction measurement for sampling effect order ensure high quality data sets. Besides OUR, selected glucose concentration, concentration virus titer daily process control evaluate progress With sets, described can accurately by cells. Several other regular samples (e.g. lactate ammonia amino acids concentration) were excluded from model, simplifying analysis minimizing labor.
