Creating an Online Community by Using ICQ Active List.

摘要: One of the important characteristics Web-based courses is that they utilize different Internet tools to close gap between instructor and learner. Although many (including course Web sites, e-mail, electronic mailing lists, threaded discussion group, chat, instant messaging, audio conferencing, video conferencing) can be used today this gap, there are a number problems with existing tools. According literature, current support instruction include: finding appropriate software for students instructors; access control keep outsiders from disrupting class communication; training instructors in use various packages; cost acquisition This paper introduces ICQ Active List, an tool which Webbased distance education community by eliminating all these problems.
