摘要: The palmately compound leaf ofTabebuia pentaphylla is initiated by periclinal division in the hypodermal layer at flank of maximal shoot apex, which lacks cytohistological zonation. growth primordium diffuse until it reaches a height 50–60 μm after an adaxial meristem makes conspicuously thick basal region. first pair lateral leaflets arise about 50 below tip when latter 150 high and before differentiation well defined marginal meristem. second arises subsequently first. terminal portion becomes central leaflet. sites leaflet initiation are endings acropetally differentiating procambial strands. 6-layered plate lamina from whose submarginal initial wedge shaped. Leaflet venation comptodromous ultimate areoles lack free vein endings.
