摘要: We reviewed 103 controlled clinical trials that compared the antiarthritic efficacy and tolerance of previously currently marketed nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) aspirin. Of 52 studies, 35 had data sufficient to calculate an NSAID index (the ratio mean improvement in NSAID-treated patients aspirin-treated patients) based on subjective and/or objective criteria. The indexes (obtained from all studies which could be calculated) indicated no statistically significant difference between aspirin NSAIDs as a group; tended become less variable number study subjects increased. Tolerance, assessed percentage who discontinued drug because side effects, was significantly greater for than but not toxicity at increased doses. Efficacy differences described among some were attributable either comparisons nonequivalent doses or chance.
