摘要: Abstract A macroscopic finite element model has been established to investigate the forming-induced wrinkling behaviour for bi-axial fabrics. Results indicate that using a linear bending with constant stiffness produces unrealistic wrinkle patterns in fabric plies. non-linear more accurate forming induced compared experimental data, since parameter is varied as function of applied load account onset fibre buckling. Areas high in-plane shear are likely induce out-of-plane wrinkles, indicating positive correlation between and deformation. new methodology developed quantitatively evaluate severity wrinkles based on FE simulation results. The distance surface preform mould tool used locate areas defects, principal curvature isolate from bridging (poor conformity).
