摘要: Japan's attitudes toward death and bereavement, traditionally disparate from those of the West, are in process rapid transition. This article considers these social changes standpoints (1) aging population; (2) changing suicide; (3) Westernization Japanese medicine; (4) decision-making concepts personhood; (5) evolution funeral practices; (6) religious beliefs anxiety. Rapid making it more difficult for families to feel satisfied with nature their relatives' passing. It remains be seen whether traditional Buddhist practices bereavement counseling can expanded applied meet needs secularizing population.
