摘要: The present study was designed to identify and comparatively investigate 35 beta-hemolytic streptococci isolated from stranded harbor porpoises or animals caught in fishing nets of the North Baltic seas. According biochemical serological data lectin agglutination tests with Arachis hypogaea, all isolates could be classified Lancefield's group L identified as Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. dysgalactiae. All were uniformly sensitive most antibiotics tested. To further analyze epidemiological relationship, subjected macrorestriction analysis their chromosomal DNA by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis. Digestion restriction enzymes SmaI ApaI revealed that seemed apparently identical related. These results indicate one clone at least related streptococcal clones play an important role for infections This might possibly caused a direct transfer bacteria animal animal.
