摘要: The X-ray refraction imaging technique was applied to the quantitative study of hydrogen diffusion in titanium-hydride. Diffusivity and activation energy were determined by direct observation hydride. hydride formed on surface titanium electrolytic-charging at 31, 63 98 °C. specimens cut into 1 mm thick slices for cross-sectional observations. layer observed using diffraction-enhanced (DEI) method. Boundaries between as black or white lines parallel specimen DEI images similar previously reported results. Hydride distribution caused from calculated an assumed diffusivity value solution appropriate equation. results converted intensity profiles measured rocking curve analyzer. compared those obtained experimental fitted trial error. titanium-hydride thus obtained, 0.55 ± 0.07 eV, showed good agreement with widely accepted internal friction.
