摘要: Abstract As an accurate and efficient algorithm, the discrete-ordinate method (DOM) has been used to solve radiative transfer problem of plane-parallel scattering atmosphere illuminated by a parallel beam, idealized case sun, from above atmosphere. In this paper, we extend algorithm so that problems more general sources, such as surface sources illuminate with beam in any direction vertical position, continuously hemisphere, can be solved. For where intensity distributions are sought for number different within same atmosphere-surface system, intrinsic properties DOM time required solution extra is reduced substantially small amount. numerical testing shown amount little 15% full solution. Examples applications presented.
