摘要: Eating disorders (ED) and non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) are serious, impairing, potentially life-threatening conditions that typically require care across the continuum, from primary to inpatient care. Primary practitioners (PCPs) critical treatment of ED NSSI, playing important roles in identification assessment. Numerous tools have been developed facilitate PCPs’ involvement continuum for ED. Although similar not fully or evaluated promising practices available PCPs address NSSI. Recommendations also determining best level including when refer treatment. Inpatient NSSI is a part these conditions, especially establishing safety, stabilizing symptoms, beginning process recovery. Increased attention by researchers providers role levels will go far improving our complex conditions.
