摘要: Abstract Ultrasound contrast imaging has been used to assess tumour growth and regression by assessing the flow through macro- micro-vasculature. Our aim was differentiate blood kinetics of vessels such as veins, arteries microvasculature within limits spatial resolution contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging. The highly vascularised ovine ovary a biological model. Perfusion with SonoVue recorded Philips iU22 scanner in mode. One ewe treated prostaglandin induce vascular regression. Time-intensity curves (TIC) for different regions interest were obtained, lognormal model fitted parameters calculated. Parametric maps whole plane generated 2 × 2 pixel interest. Further analysis TICs from selected locations helped specify associated differentiation into four categories (arteries, medium-sized micro-vessels). Time-dependent large whereas intensity-dependent arteries. development may enable automation technique an efficient way monitoring vessel distributions clinical setting using currently available scanners.
