摘要: Within the United States (U.S.), state wildlife agencies are required to identify Species of Greatest Conservation Need (SGCN), factors that impact these species, and conservation actions needed conserve species through documentation a Comprehensive Wildlife Strategy (CWCS). While identification SGCN represents an essential first step towards comprehensive management strategy at level, incorporation this information into county level plans will likely increase efforts statewide. Our objective for study was use spatial data delineate areas human activity overlapping with rich in biodiversity provide local planners recommended reduce loss by activities. Using Idaho as example, we delineated within where hotspots terrestrial aquatic activities may be conflicting. We then identified counties conflict occur mitigate benefit SGCN. used available geospatial simple geographical system (GIS) based approach which could applied other support county-level land planning conservation.
