Coupled-channel calculations using continuum distorted-waves: capture to n = 3 in proton-hydrogen collisions

摘要: A 20-state coupled-channel symmetrized variational continuum distorted-wave (SVCDW) calculation for electron capture in proton-hydrogen collisions is presented. States with a principal quantum number , centred on both the target and projectile, have been included calculation. Total cross sections to 3s, 3p 3d levels are shown energy range 15-150 keV. The SVCDW results compared other large-scale calculations experiment.
