Synthesis, electrochemical, thermal and photophysical characterization of photoactive discotic dyes based on the tris-[1,2,4]-triazolo-[1,3,5]-triazine core

摘要: Abstract This work presents the synthesis and characterization of compounds based on heterocycle tris-[1,2,4]-triazolo-[1,3,5]-triazine (TTT) obtained by a new building block that can be applied to afford different discotic materials in one step. The thermal properties were evaluated TGA DSC indicate very stable compounds. exhibited absorption UV-B region (∼280 nm) with molar absorptivity coefficients radiative rate constants arising from spin symmetry allowed π–π* electronic transitions. An emission located UV-A (∼363 nm) was observed, which most likely due normal because no evidence charge-transfer mechanism excited state observed. Spin-coated films presence π-stacking presenting lower alkyl chains. Cyclic voltammetry measurements showed reduction oxidation processes. HOMO energy potential corresponding LUMO found subtracting its optical band gap value. In addition, situ UV-Vis employed evaluate changes spectra structure conjugated molecules under oxidative reductive potentials.
