摘要: Abstract Hot deformation behavior of a novel Ni-Cr-Mo-B heavy plate steel was studied by hot compression tests, which were conducted on Gleeble-3800 thermo-mechanical simulator corresponding to the temperature range 850–1150°C with strain rates 0. 01–10s−1 and true 8. The results suggest that majority flow curves exhibit typical dynamic recrystallization (DRX) an apparent single peak stress followed gradual fall towards steady-state stress. Important characteristic parameters as critical stress/strain for initiation DRX derived from hardening rate versus strain, respectively. Material constants investigated determined based Arrhenius-type constitutive equation, then predicted equation activation energy 379 139 J/mol, values agree well experimental values. Furthermore, effect Zener-Hollomon parameter points using power law relation, ratio found be 91 0.46,
