摘要: We reviewed the performance of a 23 m and 30 Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Google Earth in predicting beta (β) points for statistical runout modeling. Our objective was to find resolution DEM that comparable with field survey error. compared predicted β against field- determined paths, using error range approximated from several repeatability measures. found none digital methods entirely within range; however performed best. The biased more conservative (downslope) estimates. data suggested less than required match survey; however, higher accuracy may justify coarser model. Judgment involved placement major contributor uncertainty this study.
