摘要: The total reflexion of subthermal and thermal neutrons from rough surfaces is analyzed in the limits small large roughness dimensions as compared to neutron wave length. analysis shows that scattering distribution a submicroscopically surface determined by spectrum roughness, concentrating near directions regular transmission unless irregularities exhibit long-range correlation. It shown submicroscopic macroscopic waviness are primary sources losses guide tubes for ultracold neutrons, respectively. present theory explains experimental values tube transmission.
