摘要: Place of death is an indicator health service utilization at the end life and differs according to cause death. Asian Americans may have a higher percentage hospital deaths than Caucasian Americans, yet reasons for this finding are unclear. This study examined distribution place associations between in elderly Japanese-American men longitudinal cohort: Honolulu Heart Program Honolulu-Asia Aging Study. Data collected 1991 1999 on 1,352 aged 73 99 were analyzed cause-of-death characteristics hospital, home, or nursing home location Fifty-nine percent died hospitals, 23% 18% homes.
