摘要: This paper compares two contrasting biennial plant species of the sand dunes Holkham, North Norfolk. A survey distribution, in relation to various habitat factors, showed that Lactuca virosa L. is characteristic tall, Ammophila-dominated grassland on younger dunes. It favoured by gaps vegetation cover such as those produced local wind erosion, but it very sensitive rabbit grazing. Cynoglossum officinale a older dune and not normally grazed rabbits. can exploit bare ground around warrens, benefiting from higher nitrogen levels resulting excreta. Studies seed production germination produce large numbers
