摘要: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly malignant and aggressive cancer with high recurrence rates mortality. Some studies have illustrated that RNA binding proteins (RBPs) were involved in the carcinogenesis development of multiple cancers, but roles HCC still unclear. We downloaded RNA-seq corresponding clinical information from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, 330 differentially expressed RBPs identified between normal tissues. Through series univariate, least absolute shrinkage selection operator (LASSO), stepwise multivariate Cox regression analyses, six prognosis-related key (CNOT6, UPF3B, MRPL54, ZC3H13, IFIT5, PPARGC1A) screened out DE RBPs, six-RBP gene risk score signature was constructed training set. Survival analysis indicated patients high-risk scores had significantly worse overall survival than low-risk patients, furthermore, can be used as an independent prognostic indicator. good accuracy this confirmed by ROC curve further validated International Consortium (ICGC) cohort. Besides, nomogram based on RBP genes established internally TCGA Gene set enrichment demonstrated some cancer-related phenotypes gathered group. Overall, our study first RBP-related six-gene signature, which could serve promising biomarker provide potential therapeutic targets for HCC.
