摘要: Changes in soil C and N concentrations contents four samplings during a 32-yr period on Walker Branch watershed Tennessee were determined compared with previously measured fluxes changes ecosystem pools this period. Soils showed significant increases surface horizons from 1972 to 2004, most of increase occurred between 1982. A observed decline 1982 1993 was reversed 2004 such that the latter increased near values. The content could be approximately accounted for by litterfall C0 2 -C fluxes. not leaching, increments vegetation, or laboratory bias, sample storage, reasonable estimates field sampling errors. We conclude that, although vegetation steadily cases, are highly variable both space time, there has been no unidirectional trend time study.
