摘要: This paper is an overview of the AVENUE project at Columbia University. AVENUE's main goal to automate site modeling process in urban environments. The first component a 3-D system which constructs complete geometric models with photometric texture mapping acquired from different viewpoints. second planning that plans Next-Best-View for acquiring model site. third mobile robot we have built contains integrated sensor suite automatically performing task.
