摘要: Open surgical repair of thoracic aortic lesions carries a significant risk complications, including death. Minimally invasive approaches, however, may improve outcomes. Clinical trials the Gore TAG Thoracic Endoprosthesis device indicate that subjects receiving graft are less likely to experience major adverse events, intraprocedural blood loss, shorter intensive care unit and hospital stays, reduced recovery times than patients. The US FDA approved in March 2005. Since then, has been used widely, although 0.30% rate complications related infolding or partial compression prompted 'Dear Doctor' letter January 2006. This article profiles evaluates endografting technology general.
