摘要: By composing (Eudragit S) with fatty acids (stearic acid (SA), palmitic (PA), and myristic (MA)), form-stable phase change materials (PCMs), which can retain the same shape in a solid state even when temperature of PCMs is over melting points acids, are prepared. The compatibility Eudragit S proved by microscopic investigation infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. crystallization temperatures latent heats measured Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) method. maximum mass percentage all found as 70%, no leakage observed at range 50–70°C for several heating cycles. Thermal properties obtained from DSC analysis indicate that S/fatty blends PCM have great potential passive solar heat thermal energy storage (LHTES) applications terms their satisfactory utility advantage. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
