First structural insight of new fluoroarsenate glasses by raman and NMR spectroscopies

摘要: A new glass in the fluoroarsenate family has been fabricated. Because of presence arsenic, these glasses show lower phonon energies than their fluorophosphate counterparts. In a previous study, optical behaviour Nd 3 + ions was investigated this matrix (Adam et al. SPIE, 1998, 3280, 143). contribution, first structural insight is proposed on through Roman and NMR spectroscopies. It appears that network may he built up from (AsO F) 2 F ) tetrahedra coypled with (YO 6 polyhedra. The connections are done preferentially via oxygen bridges, fluorine remaining unshared. about 5% - surrounded exclusively by Na indicated.
