摘要: Diagnostic confusion surrounding AD/HD, ODD, and bipolar disorder in youth had led to research examining the symptoms that are unique each condition, as well shared among disorders. However, limited has assessed domains of functional impairment across these three conditions. The purpose current study was examine whether conditions differentially associated with various functioning. Fifty-two parents from clinical community populations completed measures their adolescent's psychopathology impairment. Symptoms AD/HD were consistently strongest predictor academic, family, overall ODD tended predict interpersonal impairment, terms relationships parents, siblings, peers. Mania a significant parent peer post-hoc analyses. These results highlight potential utility distinguishing diagnoses, necessity for areas assessment intervention purposes.
