摘要: Abstract This chapter is focused on various chitin-based nanomaterials, their preparation methods, and the surface modification processes for diversifying applications. Chitin biopolymer has special properties, that is, nontoxicity, antibacterial activity, biodegradability, biocompatibility. Moreover, chitin can be converted to different nanomaterials with enhanced especially use in biomedical For example, it nanofiber, nanowhisker, nanocomposite, polymer/chitin bionanocomposite, nanogel, etc. Various techniques have been used prepare like electrospinning of nanofibers. Surface another technique improve properties as well applicability.
