摘要: Root-knot nematodes are serious pests that cause losses of a wide range different crops. Nematodes controlled mainly by nematicides which pollution and have effects on all living organisms including human beings. Therefore, discovering alternative methods to control plant parasitic was attempted during the last few years avoid pesticides hazards. Four species marine algae (Ulva lactuca, Jania rubens, Laurencia obtusa Sargassum vulgare) were tested root-knot nematode, (Meloidogyne spp.) infecting banana plants (Musa spp.). All treatments significantly (p ≤ 0.05) reduced rate build-up compared with check. U. lactuca alga gave best results in reducing number galls (73.68%) final population nematode (56.78%). The chemical analysis materials revealed had highest amount phenolics (10.39 mg GAE/g dry wt). This may explain remarkable high capability infections. Also, same treatment showed maximum growth when other For instance, shoot weight surpassed treatments, even non-nematizied check one, giving increase percentage.
