摘要: This paper attempts to provide the descriptive and classificatory basis for a clearer understanding of degenerative changes on humeral elbow. Two general problems are outlined. One in study elbow as an indicator stress making comparisons between populations. Preliminary data two series, Alaskan Eskimos Peruvian Indians, indicate much higher incidence among (18% compared with 5% Peruvians). The second problem results from unique morphology function Mechanical is fairly evenly distributed over entire surface trochlea contrast capitulum where stresses localized away edge approximately geometric center capitulum. Hypertrophic bone formation greater periphery mechanical frequent than infrequent. observation supports generalization that local important factor stimulating hypertrophic bone.
