摘要: This study represents a nuclear rDNA ITS-based phylogenetic analyses of greater sampling the Old WorldAstragalus compared to our previous work (212 vs. 134 taxa). Phylogenetic relationships among 212 species (213 accessions) WorldAstragalus, including newly segregated monotypic genusPodlechiella, two aneuploid New and five related genera, were inferred from ITS sequences using maximum parsimony. A total 658 nucleotide sites four binary characters for indels analyzed. The results suggest sect.Phyllolobium, comprising mostly Chinese species, is placed outside so-calledAstragalus s. str. well-supported monophyletic group. annual segregate genusThlaspidium (≡Astragalus sect.Thlaspidium, A. thlaspi), clearly nested withinAstragalus Among many sections analyzed here, only sects.Cenanthrum, Caraganella, Eremophysa, Incani, Laxiflori, andLotidium are strongly supported as monophyletic. Our analysis, in agreement with studies, shows that North American euploidAstragalus scattered throughout World groups genus.
