Laser synthesized magnetically recyclable titanium ferrite nanoparticles for photodegradation of dyes

摘要: In this work, contaminated free titanium ferrite nanoparticles were successfully prepared through laser ablation approach in liquid media. The synthesized characterized terms of the structural, bonding nature, chemical composition using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman and Energy-dispersive (EDX) techniques. (XRD) pattern confirmed multiphase structure revealed a vast difference between ablated its mother target. XRD, FTIR measurements showed formation magnetic as compared to bulk EDX spectrum also nanoparticles. photo catalytic activity performance was tested Rhodamine 6 G which studied time based absorption variations noted by ultra violet visible spectroscopy. degradation efficiency sample retained nearly 80% initial value after two cycle operation. These exhibited good photocatalytic activities under UV light irradiation can be recycled many times separation without major loss activity. Present studies indicate that are promising material for groundwater treatment might open new avenue designing cheaper efficient large scale water purification plants.
