摘要: Recent years have seen rapid progress in the development of ontologies as semantic models intended to capture and represent aspects real world. There is, however, great variation quality ontologies. If are become progressively better future, more rigorously developed, appropriately compared, then a systematic discipline ontology evaluation must be created ensure content methodology. Systematic methods for will take into account representation individual ontologies, performance (in terms accuracy, domain coverage efficiency automated reasoning using ontologies) on tasks which is designed used, degree alignment with other their compatibility reasoning. A sound approach required transform engineering true scientific discipline. This chapter discusses issues problems evaluation, describes some current strategies, suggests approaches that might useful future.
