摘要: Ergonovine maleate (Ergotrate) was given to 57 patients undergoing coronary arteriography for investigation of angina occurring at rest or without provocation when routine study showed normal arteries insufficient occlusive disease explain their symptoms. This provocative test induced arterial spasm in 13 patients, 10 whom had definite Prinzmetal's angina. The easily reversed with sublingually administered nitroglycerin. nearly nine and there associated reproduction the chest pain S-T elevation similar spontaneous episodes. One patient depression rather than association pain. other three focal narrowing occlusion, electrocardiographic changes. Of 44 who did not demonstrate response ergonovine, 29 15 various degrees atherosclerotic disease. We conclude that cautious administration ergonovine during can be safely used elicit some have fixed
