摘要: The aim of this study was evaluate the average variation in size oocysts Eimeria, recovered from heifer calves, using following variables: age calves (0-100 and 101-180 days age) intensity infection. In addition two measurements techniques were employed to correlate morphometry Eimeria species. A total 1512 fecal samples collected 57 municipality Pirai, Rio de Janeiro, during period August/2010 June/2011, with 955 0-100 557 between old. Nine species identified based on morphological morphometric characteristics present at percentages: E. ellipsoidalis (39.7%), alabamensis (18.4%), bovis (12.1%), zuernii (11.4%), subspherica (7.3%), cylindrica (6.0%), auburnensis (3.6%), wyomingensis (1.0%) canadensis (0.6%). Calves up 100 old showed higher intensities infection (%). Yet, both groups high least frequently observed category Statistical analysis did not reveal any correlation (p> 0.05) measurement techniques, indicating that they equal effective. specific case ellipsoidalis, it animals influenced oocyst as analyzed either techniques. However, no significant difference (p>0.05) relation
