摘要: Self-Excited Induction Generators have become the prime choice for wind energy conversion in remote and rural areas due to many advantages over Grid Connected Generators. However, their main drawback is poor voltage frequency regulation. Steady state analysis such machines important understand behaviour under varying operating conditions. In this paper steady-state performance of SEIG (with general RL load) speed, excitation capacitance load presented using a simple fast nodal piecewise linearization magnetization characteristics. Moreover, terminal control by means capacitor switching investigated. MATLAB used simulate conformity between simulation results other research papers field validates theoretical approach paper.
