摘要: An optical measurement was made for α-Fe 2 O 3 under ultrahigh pressure generated by a diamond cell. Low-energy shifts of the absorptions due to 6 A 1 g → 4 T and transitions in 3d electrons Fe ion were observed with increasing up 300 kbar. The increase crystal-field splitting indicated from data. new absorption at higher is supposed be ascribed high spin-low spin transition.
