摘要: Our objective in building MONASH was to make a practical contribution economic decision-making Australia. In trying achieve this objective, we have produced model with several innovations which think will be of interest economists even if they no particular concern for Australian problems. These are largely associated closures. With different closures produces: estimates changes technology and consumer preferences (historical closure); explanations historical developments such as the rapid growth since mid-1980s Australia's international trade (decomposition forecasts industries, regions, occupations households (forecast projections deviations from forecast paths that would caused by implementation proposed policies other shocks environment (policy closure).
