摘要: The method of flat friction stir spot welding (FFSSW) was used to investigate the tensile behavior three thin dissimilar aluminium alloys (Two sheets AA6082-T6 and one sheet AA6061-T6). Tool with probe a less tool is in this two-step process joining. Experiments were conducted at various tilt angles (TTA), rotational speeds (TRS), dwell time (DT) plunge depths (TPD). quality welds produced optimized parameters (TTA 20, TRS 2125 rpm, DT 15 s TPD 0.1 mm). Elimination protuberance reduction keyhole joint achieved for improving bonding length. Micrographs joints examined using optical microscopy scanning electron (SEM). complete finer grains zone (SZ) improved strength FFSSW joint. Energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) diffraction (XRD) analysis specimen indicates presence Mg2Si precipitates SZ. fracture upper lower interfaces examined. dimples are observed fractograph, which confirm ductile behaviour fracture. morphology surfaces also studied. mechanical properties three-sheet compared other similar techniques Better understanding weld done help fractography SEM.
