摘要: ObjectiveThis study examined the role of community resilience and psychological on depressive symptoms in areas Mississippi Gulf Coast that have experienced multiple disasters.MethodsSurvey administration took place spring 2015 to a spatially stratified, random sample households. This analysis included total 294 subjects who lived 1 3 counties at time both Hurricane Katrina 2005 Deepwater Horizon oil spill 2010. The survey Communities Advancing Resilience Toolkit (CART) scale, Connor-Davidson Scale (CD-RISC 10), Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression (CES-D).ResultsThere was significant inverse relationship between positive resilience. results also revealed indirectly related through mediating variable resilience.ConclusionsThese findings highlight importance long-term disaster recovery imply efforts should address factors associated with improve mental health outcomes.
