摘要: Analogue and modelling approaches to paleoclimatic reconstruction are reviewed. methods include calculations of regional snowline lowering from field data the analysis extreme climatic events. Several examples discussed. The relationship between changes in climate frequency circulation type is shown be problematic, at least on short time-scales. Finally, use GCMS briefly discussed with reference Glacial Maximum conditions.
