摘要: Because no effective methods for preventing or screening ovarian cancer exist, symptom recognition is integral to its early detection. The Centers Disease Control and Prevention's Inside Knowledge: Get the Facts about Gynecologic Cancer campaign was developed raise awareness educate women providers risk factors, symptoms, recommended screening, prevention strategies five main gynecologic cancers, including cancer. Knowledge materials were utilized by CDC's National Comprehensive Program grantees from 2014 2015. Grantees recruited participants held educational sessions using materials. Questionnaires given before after assess changes in awareness, confidence, behavioral intentions around information analyzed 2016. This analysis focused on an assessment of related information. Participants' knowledge increased sessions. Among women, there increases correctly identifying that Papanicolaou (Pap) test does not screen (89.2%) genetic testing available (77.9%).
