摘要: Cement samples made of beta-tricalcium phoshate (beta-TCP), phosphoric acid (PA) and water mixtures were incubated in several aqueous solutions to determine their stability over time. The effects the cement composition incubating temperature investigated more detail. contained mostly dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) remnants beta-TCP crystals. Depending on initial composition, a certain amount (DCP) crystals formed. larger PA concentration, DCP amount. After setting, was stable for at least 16 days up 60 degrees C. Above that temperature, DCPD decomposed into latter reaction provoked decrease pH incubation solution, phenomenon expected sample containing an excess PA. As beta-TCP, it postulated became so covered by or during setting stopped prematurely. gave good explanation low values measured solutions.
