摘要: The aim of this study was to examine the effects age, calendar period death and birth cohort in motor vehicle mortality Taiwan over 1974-1992. A log-linear model modified from method Osmond Gardner used. Age turned out be a significant predictor mortality. most risky group (over 70 years) had 27.1 16.3 times least (5-9 years, 10-14 for males females respectively. effect showed continuously increasing trend since 1974 females. pattern is similar except that it has slightly leveled off recent years. cohorts at highest risk were those born between 1979 1983 both sexes. However, 1929 1933 also high This analysis provided better understanding crashes.
