摘要: • We studied the size, shape, and configuration of connective tissue optic disc in normal eye-bank eyes from 60 adults. The mean vertical horizontal diameters were 1.88 1.77 mm, respectively. These figures are larger than most estimates diameter using clinical image analysis methods. Within our sample, did not have discs. variation is sufficient to explain cup-disc ratio. discs blacks more oval those whites, though axial lengths two groups significantly different. Women's smaller men, possibly explaining ratio women. Larger nerves nerve fibers do nerves. Oblique insertions detected 18% eyes. predominantly centered inferior common white
