Prevalence of Infection Following Hepatic Chemoembolization with Cross-linked Collagen with Administration of Prophylactic Antibiotics

摘要: Purpose The authors present their experience with 494 hepatic chemoembolization (HCE) procedures in 236 patients administration of a mixture cross-linked collagen and chemotherapeutic agents. prevalence infectious complications was compared who did not receive prophylactic antibiotics as part the HCE procedure. Patients Methods Fourteen nine were performed without (PA). These underwent embolization alone or low-dose cisplatinum. All remaining 480 227 PA.
